There is increasing interest and discussion today - often with frustration and cynicism - about any number of challenging world problems and the need to address them. We need to inspire ourselves and one another to change !

Human ecology, industrial ecology, environmental ecology, and value ecology (financial ecology) all tend to coincide together either towards a healthy and auspicious stewardly ecological balance or towards an unhealthy and inauspicious unstewardly ecological imbalance.

Aikido Activism is the application of physical and intellectual properties and efforts towards sustainability and joy in every possible manner – especially through the most strategic and inspired possible approaches. We must value value. What more could we do? By explicitly embracing and advancing principles of Aikido Activism a unified strategic movement of reasoned power-taking with restraint will progressively curb, subvert and overpower unreasoned, unrestrained, unstewardly powers - especially the largely unrestrained - sometimes slightly, other times very, unstewardly - traditions of business … and so evolve culture.

As conscious intent grows, diffuse initiatives of Aikido Activism will collectively fuel a far broader Aikido Movement to advance Aikido Culture by increasing the coherence of grass roots Aikido Enterprises and Aikido Mobilizations to advance both Aikido Policies and Aikido Capitalism globally, and so advance Aikido Globalization (vs. globalizing Free Market Fundamentalism or Free Market Dogma/FMD). Aikido Activism reapplies Schumpeter's "creative destruction" theory in novel ways - creating more stewardly capitalism by destroying less stewardly capitalism, and creating stewardly Aikido Globalization by destroying the globalization of unsustainable, consumption-based, FMD-based growth.

  • Aikido Culture : a cultural direction towards aware, artful and inspired, stewardly industry
  • Aikido Enterprises : energy-redirecting enterprises that embrace and advance stewardly industry and the Aikido Movement
  • Aikido Mobilizations : other grass roots efforts by individuals (and groups) to advance stewardly industry and the Aikido Movement
  • Aikido Policies : policies towards inclusion, unification and diffusion of inspired choosing, not simply the diffusion of choosing
  • Aikido Capitalism : industry towards inspired steward leadership
  • Aikido Globalization : globalization towards inspired steward leadership, diffusion of inspired choosing and information symmetry
  • Free Market Dogma (FMD) : invalidated theory of Laissez Faire privatization as Pareto efficient (free market efficiency), based on the fallacious presumption of information symmetry (when, in fact information asymmetry is a quickly-antiquating cultural tradition towards the destruction of the livability of our Earth home).
Aikido Activism will catalyze more stewardly industry to … "change the world one corporation at a time" … so to evolve from soul-deficient capitalism towards a capitalism with more of a soul via steward leadership - thus yielding the consequential, needed positive "externalities" such a soul-rich capitalism would bring about. Diffusing inspired choosing to everyone in this way is most auspicious for humanity.
