A system that is inherently inter-related and self-dependent, which is always true in the world to varying degrees – especially in a globalizing age – is always subject to Aikido Activism, i.e. to one part of the system helping another part (yet still in some form of competition) and needing to do so for species survival. If there were no Aikido Activism, and all parts of the system involved destructive competition, the ecosystem could never and would never have evolved in the first place.
Whatever provides avenues for interlinkage is what establishes the systems dimension of the system (i.e., what establishes the system), which is not just the interlinkages but also the sensory facets of system elements.
A human being becomes nothing if deprived of sight, hearing, touching, smelling, tasting, and thinking (the lattermost being the deepest, most systems-inclusive sensory perceptor that ties the other five together). Thinking - the most integrative perceptor - is the most fundamental to life, because it can be the most scientific.
In human sociology, electronic communication networks represent visual, aural and tactile human-to-human portals, but their ability to interlink human consciousness and awareness is their greatest feat. It is no surprise then that any communication network presents a force of Aikido Activism.
