Hi, Mark. Thanks for engaging your heart and mind to benefit the world/humanity. First of all, please, no sitting ;-) … there's a lot of good work to be done, and enjoyment to be had in the doing of very important work. I relish remembering that all of our hearts and minds are alive - seeking opportunity and reason. But opportunity or reason are not the same to each individual - and that historical "me" vs. "we" thing becomes pronounced in globalization as the globalization of consumption-based growth threatens all, which fortunately would appear to increasingly unite humanity against this common enemy.

Perhaps (I hope) this wiki can empower ANYONE to:

  • serve as watchdog for who is showing leadership (so others will join them),
  • speed the learning and sharing of what that leadership looks like,
  • serve as watchdog for who is worsening the condition of humanity, etc.
Thanks if you can begin to look around for places in the wiki (or create new places in it - or elsewhere) to add names of companies and why they fit the model. A filter or characterization of companies fitting the Aikido model will be helpful - what are the facets that make them progressive in this way. It would be great to have other language translations. So there is, hopefully, much more to come, with this being just a primitive start. (And in response to your question, I am in Walnut Creek, CA, you?)
